   As for the overall performance of the event, Li said that the theme of the competition is the theme of "2021 spring and summer textile fashion trends in China", with distinctive themes, clear requirements, clear guidance and maneuverability. From the perspective of the presentation of works, some of the selected works are relatively immature, expressive power, fashion sense and presentation mode need to be improved. However, a considerable number of designers are very strong in systematic design, series sense and commercialization, and the interpretation of the trend and the selection of fabrics are all in place, which is in line with the trend of fashion and has a sense of fashion.

   Speaking of the design style of this competition, Bian Xiangyang said that the design style of this competition is in line with the theme and design direction of "2021 spring and summer Chinese textile fabric fashion trend", which has strong design innovation. Most entries focus on the application of design elements, emphasize the comprehensive expression of fabrics, colors, patterns and processes, pay attention to the overall coordination of clothing, emphasize the integrity and visual expression of design, take into account the balance between design and commerce, emphasize the practicality, commercial value and market potential of finished garments. The entries can be designed in combination with fabric resources, and targeted to enhance the combination of design and market.

   Li Jun expressed the same view on the combination of design and commerce. "At the same time, the current entries play a common role in the trend of fashion, while achieving the organic integration with the commercial application area, and deducing fashion from the perspectives of style, profile and detail." In addition, Li Jun also remarked that this part of the entries was concerned with the theme of Chinese traditional culture, and ingeniously combined with the elements of fashion trend to carry out innovation and interpretation, highlighting the characteristics of Chinese fashion culture. He said the entries should be further enhanced in the creative application of composite fabrics.

   Zhao Huizhou said that the design of this competition is more systematic and complete, which is mainly divided into creative clothing and practical clothing. Creative works are fully interpreted in terms of colors, fabrics and styles, which bring more inspiration to designers. Practical clothing combines the application domain of art and market, and has a certain reference value for the realization of commercial value. It is the significance and value of competition that we can excavate more designers of clothing design, promote designers' accurate judgement of the market and make more contributions to the garment industry.

   This contest has received over 2300 design drawings from nearly 500 designers and students at home and abroad. During the period of collecting works, the epidemic is the most serious period. The Organizing Committee and the participants have overcome many difficulties. After many efforts, they have finally completed the collection and fruitful results, which is not easy under the epidemic.        

   2020 China fashion design competition is jointly sponsored by China Textile Industry Federation, China Textile Information Center, national textile product development center and Shengze Town People's government. China Eastern Silk Market Management Committee specially supports it. This competition will focus on the four themes of the "2021 spring and summer textile fashion trends in China" released by the China Textile Information Center and the national textile product development center, namely, the four design directions of the force field, the pleasure traveler, the time and space pole, and the tide playing discipline. It covers the comprehensive application of men's clothing, women's wear and children's clothing, and the design elements of fabrics, colors, patterns and processes. The grasp of the trend is outstanding.       

   It is reported that the 10 finalists finalists will attend the Shengze fabric enterprises docking conference at the end of April. The two sides will make garment production around the theme of the competition. In June 16th, the designer will make the final show at the 2020 Shengze fashion week and the seventh Jiangsu (Shengze) Textile Expo Expo opening ceremony and the second China Fashion Design Awards ceremony.
