The struggle to safeguard the intellectual property rights of "double G" trademark has also won an important victory.

O's Chinese leather goods manufacturer (Zhou Shaolin, the owner of the industry) has made a 26000th decision on the appeal of trademark infringement, ruling that Gucci and its parent company, French luxury giant Kering, win the group.

As a defendant, the Chinese company used the reverse "double C" trademark which is very similar to the classic "double G" trademark of Gucci, which brought confusion and misleading to consumers.

However, for the La Corte di Appello di Firenze Florence court of appeal, this act alone is not enough to identify the existence of counterfeit trademarks in the Chinese company. The company's trademark "flagrantly arouses consumers' associations with Gucci trademarks, although different letters are used to avoid the similarity in graphics, but this variant will inevitably confuse Gucci customers."

However, because the quality of the products of the Chinese company is not comparable to that of the real Gucci products, the Florence court of Appeal ruled that its behavior is not counterfeiting Gucci but is similar to Gucci.

However, the Supreme Court of Italy held a different view that the trademark of Gucci was existed before the trademark of the Chinese company and its impact on the trademark of the company was immediate and far-reaching.

The current and future use of the trademarks of the Chinese company will increase.

At that time, Gucci filed a lawsuit against Guess and its footwear dealer Marc Fisher Footwear in the federal court of New York, saying that the trademark "Guess G" and "green red green" used by Guess infringed the intellectual property rights of their own trademark classics.

In 2015, Guess was also surprised by the fact that the latest product released by the new season was similar to the Gucci design style. The court was sentenced to Guess.
