High technology has opened the door to a new world for clothing. Nowadays, more and more

Smart clothing

Pour into people's sight.

There's nothing you can't imagine without a designer.

Recently, University of Manchester has demonstrated a new technology solution: using simple screen printing technology, directly printed on the textile similar to flexible battery equipment, this technology has solved the problem of wearable device charging.

A component called supercapacitor is a way to achieve this solution. It acts like a battery and can charge quickly, and can charge the device in a few seconds.

Graphene oxide is a form of graphene which can be produced in ink solution at lower cost.

This solution can be applied to textiles and create fabric supercapacitors.

Dr Nazmul Karim, a researcher at National Graphene Institute, said: "developing graphene with simple and scalable printing technology.

Flexible fabric

Super capacitor is an important step to achieve the next generation of wearable electronic fabrics.

It will develop an intelligent electronic textile that can store energy and monitor human activities and physiological conditions at the same time. It is both environmentally friendly and efficient.

Dr. Amor Abdelkader said that the textile has the characteristic of extensibility and flexibility. We first printed a stable device which can store energy and at the same time be flexible. The device is also washable, which makes it suitable for future smart clothing.

We believe that this work will open the door for the use of 2-D Materials inks to print other equipment on textiles.

The flexible battery device has created the birth of smart cloth. It can not only provide power for wearable devices, but also be flexible like ordinary cotton cloth.

This will facilitate the direct use of wearable product screens in clothing fabrics to achieve better health monitoring functions and wearable display devices.

University of Manchester is currently building the Graphene Engineering Innovation Centre, strengthening the research capacity of the national graphene Institute.

The innovation center will cost 60 million pounds, and will become an international research and technology base.

Researchers hope that their findings can open wearable smart computers.

At present, they are preparing papers for this research.

University of Manchester is now investing 6000 pounds in the construction of a large graphene plant, which will be completed next year and will provide an international research facility for the international graphene Research Institute (NGI).
