   H&M The first joint World Wide Fund for nature (WWF) Co hosted "China" during the "2015 China Water Expo". clothing Textile industry supply chain resource innovation forum. From government departments, Spin Representatives from various trade associations, municipal water treatment facilities management departments, financial institutions, non-governmental organizations and other representatives discussed how to promote sustainable development of the "water and drainage big household" in the garment and textile industry through innovative technology and long-term management mechanism, and alleviate the challenge of water resources in China.

H&M Anna Palmqvist, global sustainable development manager, said water resources in China are becoming increasingly severe due to climate change and rising demand for water resources. To this end, H&M extends the perspective of water resources management to the entire supply chain, from cotton planting, product design, cloth processing, to product transportation, sales and use, and carries out the concept of responsible water in all aspects of the value chain. Anna Palmqvist said: "we believe that through the joint efforts of the entire textile industry to improve the management of water resources, we will continue to create happiness for China's environmental protection and people's lives."

It is understood that H&M and WWF are developing the first industrial park water management innovation pilot project in Changzhou high tech Zone Textile Industrial Park. Through the water recycling and upgrading technology of textile production, the management level of water resources in the industrial park will be improved. In addition, H&M also launched the "Better Mill Initiative" with the wo people foundation to help China's more than 30 textile printing factories and printing and dyeing factories to reduce water consumption and sewage discharge and improve production efficiency.
