China

In December 4, 2008, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Meijer jointly announced the voluntary recall of caps and gloves for Chinese girls.

The recalled hats and gloves are all pure cotton and have various colors.

The sides of the hat are sewn with magnets, and "Aquarius LTD" is marked on the label.

The hat and gloves were sold in Meijer stores in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky in 8~10 2008, at a unit price of $12 per set.

The number of recalled products is about 100 units.

The reason for the recall is that the magnet in the cap is easy to fall off. If it is eaten by a child, it can cause suffocation. If eating more than 2 magnets, magnets attract each other in the abdomen, which may cause intestinal obstruction or intestinal perforation in children.

At present, Meijer has received 1 reports of magnetic shedding on the hat, and no personal injury reports are reported.

For this reason, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that consumers immediately withdraw the recalled hats and gloves from children, and return to the Meijer store for refund and full refund.
