According to the plan, the government of Croatia will provide 2 billion Kona (274 million euros) of funds to support the development of clothing and leather industry, of which 40% will be used for R & D departments.

As the average wage of the textile and garment leather industry is the lowest among the industries in the country, the number of employees is decreasing, and the competition of the related industries in the Far East countries and regions is facing more difficulties in the development of Croatia's textile, clothing and leather industry.
