September 28th hearing of the whole Pakistan Textile Mills Association (

APTMA

) the spokesman criticized the North Gas Pipeline Co., Ltd. (SNGPL) to continue to cut the gas consumption in the textile industry for three days a week and, despite full assurance by the federal oil minister, will immediately change to two days a week.

The spokesman said that despite the fact that the textile industry was in contact with the Ministry of Finance and the president of Pakistan, the management attitude of SNGPL was stubborn, leading to heavy losses in the textile industry, including the reduction of labour force and the delay in delivery time for export orders.

APTMA spokesman said that since September 17th, SNGPL has increased its textile industry's cut-off time from two days per week to three days.

This problem has reached the highest level in the country.

For discussion, the forum asked SNGPL management to restore the number of gas stops in the textile industry to the original load management plan, that is, to stop gas for two days per week.

But all this is in vain. SNGPL still stops the textile industry for three days a week.

A spokesman for APTMA said that in terms of power supply,

SNGPL

Without cooperation with the textile industry, there was no plan to cut power for six hours, and planned to cut off power for four hours.
