Since Late August, Pork Prices Have Risen In Nearly 70% Provinces.

Beginning in the first ten days of July, the price of pork continued to rise in the beginning of the year and became stable. A slight increase has been seen since late August, and the increase has been widened during the Mid Autumn Festival holiday.

Monitoring data showed that compared with August 20th, the price of pork and pork meat rose 2.3% and 1.8% respectively in September 12th.

The prices of grass carp, carp, crucian, tilapia and hairtail rose by 1.8%, 1.2%, 0.9%, 0.8% and 0.2% respectively.

Of the 21 vegetables monitored, 16 prices rose, 4 prices were flat, and 1 prices fell.

Among them, celery, spinach, rape, lettuce, kidney beans, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers, radish, onion, cowpea, peppers, bitter gourd, scallion prices rose by 1% to 3%, cabbage and garlic rose by less than 1%; tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, ginger prices were flat; carrot prices fell 0.5%.
