Italy Will Provide Support For The Development Of Smes In India.

According to "India news network" November 5th, Italy will launch a project worth more than 3 million euros, aiming at helping India SMEs to enhance their international competitiveness and promote their development.

The project, entitled "strengthening India SME development plan" for a period of 3 years, will be undertaken by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and supervised by the India SME department.

The project involves footwear, leather (including leather making), leather goods, auto parts and so on.

The first phase of the project will start from this year, when the footwear enterprises in Italy and India will sign relevant cooperation agreements. According to the agreement, Italy will provide technical and professional support to India shoemaking enterprises to help India enterprises update their shoemaking process.
