To this end, the first largest tea export country in Zhejiang province has set up the country's first tea. foreign trade Early warning demonstration points to explore the "breaking the wall" of the whole industry.

This early warning demonstration site was established by the Zhejiang International Tea Association and the Zhejiang mediation center of China Council for the promotion of trade. Mao Limin, President of Zhejiang international tea merchants association, said that the export of green tea in Zhejiang has occupied 70% of the country for many years. Technology barrier 。 The establishment of early warning points is to get timely information on foreign trade barriers, especially technical barriers, coordinate the timely response of tea enterprises, improve the competitiveness of tea export in Zhejiang, and seek the transformation and upgrading of tea industry.

Chen Zongmao, academician of the Chinese Academy of engineering, is the honorary leader of the working group on this early warning point. He said that in 2009, China exported 303 thousand tons of tea, accounting for 20% of the world's total, ranking first in the world. But most of the tea exported to China is exported to developing countries, and the number of tea exported to Europe has been hovering around two thousand or three thousand tons per year. The reason is that the technical barriers in developed countries have great influence on the export of tea.

Zhejiang tea foreign trade warning and demonstration points include more than half of the province's tea enterprises with an annual export volume exceeding 5 million US dollars, including the national tea supply and marketing cooperative Hangzhou Tea Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Tea Research Institute and other tea industry scientific research institutions, and the relevant functional departments such as inspection and quarantine, agriculture, credit insurance and so on.

From 2007 onwards, the provincial commerce department began to explore the establishment of industrial foreign trade early-warning points based on industry associations and chambers of Commerce, and timely access to export warning information. At present, 50 warning points have been set up in the whole province. Sun Shaobo, deputy director of the Fair Trade Bureau of Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, said that Zhejiang will focus on cultivating 15 foreign trade early-warning points this year, and Zhejiang's tea trade warning and demonstration point is one of them.
