The EU has become the number one destination for exports.

In just two months, the spot price of standard cotton rose sharply from 18 thousand yuan / ton in September to 30 thousand yuan / ton in November.

Under the impact of frenzied cotton prices, Shishi clothing exporters are trying to raise export quotas substantially.

During the interview, Wang Min, general manager of China min foreign trade, told reporters that this year, both the cost of labor and the cost of raw materials are soaring.

"To do business in EU countries, one must have integrity, and the two is quality."

Wang said that although the EU has introduced a variety of technical barriers to trade and raised the threshold of trade this year, the rising cost of global garment production is well known. For this reason, many of our export garment enterprises have raised the unit price accordingly.

Cotton prices have risen steadily since the beginning of the year.

Reporters at the autumn fair, which just came to a close in the past few days, learned that orders for the autumn fair were generally up about 30% over the same period, and the price range of individual products was even as high as 40%.

Chief executive of a garment enterprise told reporters that the price increase on the Canton Fair was never easy, and the proportion of foreign investors in many EU countries was still acceptable.

"Shishi clothing sells well on the quality of the European Union, but also leaves behind the support of the government and related departments."

The head of Shishi Office of Fujian inspection and Quarantine Bureau told reporters that this year, Shishi municipal Party committee, municipal government, inspection and quarantine departments and customs departments, in order to help export garment enterprises to improve product quality, reasonably avoid risks and effectively deal with trade barriers, actively carry out activities such as "quality improvement", and strive to help expand the export of textile and clothing in the area.

This year, the inspection and quarantine department has organized inspection, quality inspection personnel export policy lectures and other services to dozens of export enterprises in the jurisdiction area, and has solved the inspection and quarantine policy and export inspection requirements for key objects such as enterprise quality management in a simple way. In addition, dozens of enterprises' product quality leaders have been invited to visit the Key Laboratory of national textile inspection to inspect the export textile inspection and testing process, and comprehensively promote the quality of textile and clothing, including children's clothing and other sensitive export commodities.

At the same time, 1-10 months, a total of 982 thousand yuan for enterprises to reduce inspection and quarantine costs.
