With the growth of high exports, Vietnam has become the fourth largest shoe supplier in the world, and shoes export revenue in 2010 is expected to reach US $5 billion 200 million.

In order to promote the development of footwear department, the Ministry of industry and trade of Vietnam approved a general plan for 2020 to plan for 2025.

The goal of the Department is to earn $13 billion in 2020, increasing the utilization rate of domestic raw materials from the current 30-35% to 70%.

During the conference, an international footwear materials and machinery exhibition was held in September 8th. More than 120 production companies from 13 Asian and European countries exhibited their products at 200 stalls.
