According to the statistics of National Bureau of statistics, in 1-7 months, the profits of [1] above Designated Size industries in 24 provinces of China reached 18761 billion yuan, an increase of 61.1% over the same period last year, of which, in July, the profit was 265 billion yuan, an increase of 16.7%.


The profits of most industries are increasing.

In 1-7 months, the profits of 37 industries in 39 industrial sectors increased positively, and 20 industries increased by more than 50%. The profits of 10 industries increased more than one fold.


Profit growth slowed down in the main raw materials industry.

Ferrous metal

The profit of smelting and calendering processing, non-ferrous metal smelting and calendering processing increased by 1.7 times and 1.5 times compared with that of the previous year. The profit of chemical raw materials and chemical products, rubber products and non-metallic mineral products increased by 53.4%, 25.2% and 48% respectively.

The processing industry lost 32% of its profits.

In the same month, black metal smelting and calendering processing, rubber products, petroleum processing, coking and nuclear fuel processing industry profits decreased compared with the same period last year. Profits of non-ferrous metal smelting and calendering processing industry still maintained a relatively high growth rate.

Overall growth is relatively fast.

In 1-7 months, the profit of special equipment manufacturing and general equipment manufacturing increased by 58.9% and 47.9% respectively, up 79.5% and 31.3% respectively in July, and the profit of pportation equipment manufacturing increased 94.5%, up 31.8% in July.


The textile industry is in good condition, and the profit growth rate of light industry has slowed down.

In the 1-7 months, the profit of textile and clothing and footwear manufacturers increased by 52.2% and 28.1% respectively, up 38.4% and 37% respectively in July.

The profit of food and beverage manufacturing increased by 23.1% and 21.3% respectively, up 10.2% and 8.3% respectively in July. The profit of paper and paper products, furniture manufacturing and plastic products increased by 48.6%, 45.5% and 39.2% respectively, up 4.4%, 18.5% and 24.5% respectively in July.


The electronics industry maintained a higher profit growth rate.

In the 1-7 month, the profits of communications equipment, computers and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry increased 1.14 times compared with that of the previous year, with an increase of 35% in July.


The deficit situation continued to improve.

In 1-7 months, the loss of Industrial Enterprises above designated size was 15.1%, and the deficit of loss making enterprises decreased by 34.6% compared with the same period last year, narrowing by 0.6 and 3.4 percentage points respectively.


The capital expenditure of finished products and the growth of accounts receivable dropped.

At the end of 7, accounts receivable for industrial enterprises above designated size increased by 25.4% over the same period last year, down 1 percentage points from the end of 6, and the output of finished products increased by 10.5%, down 1.2 percentage points from the end of 6.
