南美墨西哥“国际潮流时装和面料展INTERMODA”是在墨西哥举办的南美洲和墨西哥最大的纺织品服装和面料，展会面对拥有14亿人口的南美洲消费市场，而且墨西哥与美国签有“北美自由贸易协定”(NAFTA)，而根据NAFTA规定，美国自1994年1月1日起取消从墨西哥进口纺织品和服装的配额限制，并给予一系列的关税优惠(2001年，美国从墨西哥进口的平均关税仅为0.9%).南美洲大部分国家如巴西/智利/秘鲁/阿根廷/哥伦比亚等国与美国均签有“自由贸易协定”，服装成品去美国关税很低，因此南美洲面料/辅料市场庞大.到展会的确认买家人数超过25000多名，来自墨西哥/美国/巴西/阿根廷/哥伦比亚/秘鲁/智利/委内瑞拉/西班牙等国南美洲/北美/中美洲/欧洲等30多个国家，35000平方米展厅，可容纳超过数1300个展位。
