   Resistance was initially encountered at the beginning of this year, but Tunisia's textile and garment industry has revived. Since March, the volume of foreign trade has shown signs of recovery, and the results in April are even more significant. According to the data provided by the textile technology center, the total export volume of the whole industry has increased by 13.3%, and the trade volume has reached 421 million Dal, or 222 million euros, an increase of 10.9%.


Compared with April 2009, the export volume of textile industry increased by 27.05%, which was mainly attributed to the export of polyester comprehensive textile raw materials, which accounted for 53%. Driven by the main export products, garment export increased by 11.3%, especially the export volume of jeans increased by 21.5%, and the export volume increased by 13%. In the Italy market, T-shirts exported from Tunisia have maintained steady growth since the beginning of the year. The amount in April increased by 13% and exports increased by 6%. In terms of women's underwear, Tunisia's exports to Spain and the UK market increased by 10.1% and 15.3% respectively.
