According to the data of China Textile Import and Export Chamber of Commerce, from January to March this year, China's textile and clothing exports totaled US $66.286 billion, of which US $10.738 billion was exported to the United States, up 8.2% year on year.

The textile business of Xiamen Jianyu Industrial Co., Ltd. is the core business segment. It mainly sells outdoor sports and children's wear products in the U.S. market. The current U.S. tariff policy has brought many uncertainties. "At present, delivery is suspended in the U.S. market, and future demand depends on shelf inventory. Xu Wenjuan, assistant general manager of the company, said that the company is actively exploring different paths, including exploring emerging markets, optimizing the layout of the supply chain, etc, "In the long run, diversified development will help improve the ability to resist risks".

In addition, digital tools help improve the efficiency of the textile and clothing industry. The relevant person in charge of Yantai Zhonglian Industry Co., Ltd. said that the company used AI design technology to improve quality and efficiency, and realized the transformation from the original five plans designed every week to more than 300 plans every day. At the same time, the company also used AI model to create a digital pattern library for intangible cultural heritage, which increased the conversion rate of customers by 40%.

The China Chamber of Commerce for Textile Importers and Exporters said that China has a clear competitive advantage in the global textile and clothing supply chain and is at the core of the Asian supply chain. Under the new situation, the textile and clothing industry should constantly optimize its international layout, promote high-quality and sustainable development, and realize the transformation from a large textile and clothing trade country to a powerful trade country.
