(AAFA) the fifteenth edition of restricted substances has been released recently.

The total net sales of cowhide (all delivered in 2014) totaled 353 thousand and 900, representing an increase of 40% and 2% respectively over the previous week and the first 4 weeks.

The top 5 export destinations include China (236 thousand and 100), South Korea (94 thousand and 200), Taiwan, China (16 thousand and 600), Japan (2200) and Australia (2200).

This week, the total export volume of the cowhide was 356 thousand and 800, an increase of 1% over the previous week, but it was 1% lower than the average of the previous four weeks.

The main export destinations are China (262 thousand and 300), South Korea (69 thousand and 700), Mexico (7600), Taiwan, China (7400) and Thailand (4800).

The net sales of blue wet leather delivered in 2014 fell by 33% and 49% respectively over last week and the first 4 weeks.

The export market of non split skin showed increased destination market, including China, Thailand and India, which increased by 13 thousand and 900, 7000 and 6400 respectively, while the total number of exports to Italy decreased by 1800.

The growth of grain split skin exports showed that China and South Korea increased by 1900 and 5000 respectively, indicating that the decline was 2400 and 2100 in India and Japan respectively.

The total net sales of wet blue sold in 2015 this week will be 9900.

The total number of non split skins exported to Italy and China was 3900 and 2600 respectively, and the total number of grain split skins exported to China, India and Japan were 1300, 2400 and 2100 respectively.

Delivered in 2015, but sold to Taiwan, China this week, the total number of split skin dropped by 2400.

A total of 112 thousand and 100 wet blue skins were sold this week. The main export destinations include China (26 thousand and 800 unsplit skin and 7200 grain split skin), Italy (23 thousand and 200 unsplit skin and 9500 grain split skin), Vietnam (14 thousand and 500 unsplit skin) and Mexico (7900 grain split skin and 1100 unsplit skin).

The two tier leather net sales required to be delivered in 2014 amounted to a total of 146 thousand and 600 pounds. In 2015, the two tier leather export needed for Korea was reduced by 463 thousand and 500 pounds, while the total weight of 1 million 614 thousand pounds was mainly exported to Hongkong, Korea, China and Taiwan, China.
